An Impact of Trade on Economic Growth: A Case Study of China

Abstract

This study aims to look at the impact of trade on China’s economic development. For this analysis we have taken Gross domestic product as dependent variable while trade, labor force, Domestic investment taken as independent variable. Time series data source is World Bank and its duration is 1990-2018. Results of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) show that DI, Trade and Lf have significantly positive impact on the GDP of China. Similarly, combined impact of DI*LF has significantly positive impact on the China’s economy.
