Abstract

The study’s main objective is to examined the determinants of Domestic Investment in Pakistan using the time series data for the era of 1985 to 2018 for the analysis. The Ordinary Least Square (OLS) Method outcomes show that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has positive and significant impact on Domestic Investment (DI). Furthermore, Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Financial Development (FD) have insignificant impact on Domestic Investment (DI) in Pakistan. The study suggests that when the increase in inflation the policy makers should also increase the Domestic investment and increase the performance of Financial Development institutions in Pakistan.
