Role of working females in economic development of Pakistan

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between working females in agricultural sector and economic growth. The model has been used to analyze the time series data on Pakistan from 1987 to 2017. This paper contributes to the accessible literature by investigative the different empirical methods to estimate the relationship between working females in agricultural sector and economic growth. Finding discovers the role of working females in agricultural sector and economic growth. Female agricultural participation rate has a long run relationship with domestic investment in Pakistan. The results suggested that if the rate of female agricultural participation rate increases may have a positive effect on domestic investment.
