Abstract

The current study was designed to examine the effect of using electronic media on students’ learning habits at the secondary level in Lahore District. The basic purpose to design this study was to explain how much time students spend on electronic media and how it was influencing their learning habits. The study was quantitative by nature and descriptive research design was selected for conducting it. All secondary level schools’ students were considered as the population for this study. By using a random sampling technique, 300 students were selected as the sample for this study. A standardized instrument was administered for data collection. The researchers collected data personally via questionnaires through survey method. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that watching TV and using other sorts of electronic media had positive effect on students’ learning habits.
